He is also famously known to play through it during the Beano sessions, giving much-deserved appreciation and recognition to such a wonderful ampo . With 30W output and 2x12 speakers, it offers punchy and responsive lower frequencies, complimented perfectly by glistening top-end. This Amp Head oozes tons of natural warmth and offers a tasty blend of organic and vintage tonality.

The 1962, 2 x 12" combo was called the 'Bluesbreaker' because it was famously used by Eric Clapton with the influential British blues rockers, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, in 1966. It was this heady, 'high in the mix' sound that made the legend of the 1962.
GZ34 valve rectification plays a pivotal role in helping to achieve that famed output-stage compression and clean sustain, unique to both the 'Bluesbreaker' combo and the JTM45 head. Although tonally similar to the JTM45, the 1962 'Bluesbreaker' speakers add to its sonic characteristics.
This 'Bluesbreaker' re-issiue is loaded with two reissue Celestion Greenback 25 Watt speakers, and a footswitchable Tremolo, to recreate that classic '60s vibe.
